A little about Julia:

•Julia’s family has deep roots in Lindbergh Schools. Her husband Kurt is a 1997 graduate of LHS. More than 10 years ago Julia and her husband moved from South St. Louis City back to the district so their kids could attend Lindbergh Schools. They have 2 kids at Truman Middle School and one at the high school.  Her children attended elementary at Sappington and Long. She also has family members that teach in the district,

•As an attorney serving as the Director of Litigation Support and eDiscovery at UB Greensfelder, LLC, Julia is uniquely prepared to add value to the Lindbergh Board of Education. For the first 11 years of her career, she was a litigator – a role that required her to carefully analyze issues from multiple perspectives. In 2014, her firm asked her to take a leadership role as the Director of Litigation Support and eDiscovery. She now focuses on the intersection of law and electronic evidence, helping attorneys manage cases with millions of emails, social media posts, and cell phone data. The role was new when she stepped into it, and it is constantly changing as technology changes. In the past year, her job has involved working with artificial intelligence and adapting workflows to incorporate this new technology. Being in such a dynamic field, she understands the technology that is available to students.  She knows that schools are obligated to provide an education that allows students to move forward in a world where the jobs they will have do not yet exist and will constantly evolve with current technology, as her own job has. Julia also serves as a volunteer mediator for the EEOC.

•Julia has created a successful career by being flexible, embracing technology, and carefully considering every issue from all angles. She believes different perspectives create balance and the best outcomes.  These skills will continue to aid her in making thoughtful, evidence-based decisions as a board member.
